Christmas Candles

Last year I made these with my RS. They were super easy. I gave them to my mom for Christmas so now that I am in Utah I was able to get a picture. Aren't they fun?
To make them you stamp a stamp on white tissue paper. Then you color it in if you would like. I did this on the Santa candle. After it is all colored you cut around the stamp. Then you place the stamped picture on the candle where you would like it and use wax paper to cover the stamp. Make sure the wax paper is long enough so you can hold it tight in the back while you do the next step. Lastly, you use a heat gun or a blow dryer and heat the stamp. It kind of changes the texture so you can tell when you are done. It really only works on white or cream candles. The other ones when the wax melts over the stamped tissue paper you can no longer see the stamp. You could really make these candles for any holiday, special occassion, or just for fun. I am definitely going to make me some more. They were fun.

You can click here for a tutorial I found that teaches you how to do this better than I could.
