A few weeks ago we got a free dresser and mirror from a law student who was moving back to Utah. Well, the dresser needed a little fixing. The side panel had been snapped in half. So Devin attacked it with some screws, wood glue, and a hammer and got it all fixed. Then I took a few days and got it painted. Here is the final product. I think it looks pretty good for a free dresser.
The mirror we got was a little too Phantom of the Opera for me, so I thought I would spray paint it black. It looks a lot better and we love having a full length mirror.

We have loved fixing all of our free projects. It feels good to be able to fix things up. It is also nice knowing that you are saving TONS of money. So thanks for the free stuff Doug - we love it all!
