Well, I did it. I finally sewed my first article of clothing. And I actually think it didn't turn out too bad. I thought I would practice on Amy's clothes before I tried sewing something for myself. Anyway, here it is...
And here is the back. I converted it from a zipper closure (I don't dare try to put one in yet) to buttons.
The sash is removable. I am going to make a few more so she can wear different colors. I have a red satin one planned for the Christmas holiday. Well, my first sewing experience was a success. So I guess I can sew some more clothing now. Too bad Amy will grow out of her clothes too quickly.

It turned out cute! I was going to tell you I have found that the little flaws that happen while you are sewing something usually don't get noticed once it is all done and on the person. I like the idea of different color sashes.
love love it. Mel you did awesome she looks darling in it. Now you are going to catch the sewing bug and than you'll get into trouble like me:)!!!!! It's to much fun though. I can't wait to see whats next.
