I just sewed the top together, put wrong sides together of the front and back and sewed around the whole thing leaving a hole to turn it back around. Then when it was all turned inside out, I sewed around the edge of the scarf. I also sewed across the scarf where the different materials met just to make it more secure. It was fun and easy and Joanna loved it. Mission accomplished.Saturday, January 10, 2009
Scrap Scarf
So I was trying to decide what to get my sister-in-law for Christmas and my sister suggested that I make this scarf she saw on etsy. So I checked it out and knew that it would be perfect for Joanna. You can click here for the link we looked at. It was just a scarf made out of scrap fabric. The back of the scarf is chenille or some other soft fabric. It was so fun to make. Here is how mine turned out.
