Scrap Scarf

So I was trying to decide what to get my sister-in-law for Christmas and my sister suggested that I make this scarf she saw on etsy. So I checked it out and knew that it would be perfect for Joanna. You can click here for the link we looked at. It was just a scarf made out of scrap fabric. The back of the scarf is chenille or some other soft fabric. It was so fun to make. Here is how mine turned out.
I just sewed the top together, put wrong sides together of the front and back and sewed around the whole thing leaving a hole to turn it back around. Then when it was all turned inside out, I sewed around the edge of the scarf. I also sewed across the scarf where the different materials met just to make it more secure. It was fun and easy and Joanna loved it. Mission accomplished.
