Purse and Wallets

Last month's Project of the Month was wallets. I made one for myself and for my cousin. They were so fun! I was kind of scared to try to make one, but it was a lot easier than I thought. I still plan on making me a checkbook cover but I have other things I need to do first, like clean the house. Yikes! Here is the one I made for me. The inside and back:

I also made the cutest purse for my cousin out of this pattern. Check it out. It was my first purse and it was so easy. I got it all sewed together in about an hour. I modified the pattern to make the strap longer. It would be really cute in a bigger version for those of you who would want to enlarge the pattern.

I do have another purse in the works. It's a bigger diaper bag. Amy sure requires a lot of things when we leave the house. It should be super cute. I'm excited to get started on it. Maybe after the holiday.
