3-Tiered Stand

While visiting Dear Lizzie in Utah, I noticed that they used a lot of tiered stands to display their shop items. I thought they were so cute and really wanted to make Amy one for her hairbows. So my mom found some great silver trays for $1 a piece and I got some candlesticks and bowl at the dollar store. You could really use anything for this. Just as long as you get the desired look that you want.
Then I just glued them all together using hot glue. Hot glue is only temporary and will not hold very well if it is going to be moved around very much. So if you want a more permanent hold you can use glass glue or super glue. I figured this might be easier to transport flat so that is why I used the hot glue. Sorry the picture is blurry. :(Then just load it up with all your goodies. I put Amy's bracelets (and now sunglasses) on the top tier and all her bows on the other ones.I added the topper recently after my mom found one and sent it to me. I love how it finished off the piece. For another idea on how to make cake stands from scratch check out my sister's blog here. I want to do this same idea but use a dark candlestick and plate for the bottom with the clear top. I think that would look good to add a little depth to it.
