I have been pinning lots of ideas for busy bags for the kids. I made a huge list and am trying to get some made. It's been fun. They are super easy and quick and for the most part I have had all the supplies. Bonus. Here are a couple I made the other day.
Felt Pizza with Recipe Book
I cut up a piece of cardboard for the crust and then just used felt for the sauce and all the toppings. I then made a little recipe book with a picture of someone (I just cut some out of a magazine but you could use pictures of family members) and a little list of what they would like on their pizza. One pizza called for 15 pieces of cheese, 3 ham, and 8 pineapple. She loved this and wanted to make a pizza over and over again. Lots of fun.Color/Shade Matching
This was another easy one. Just get some free paint samples and cut one down into smaller pieces. I just used sticky velcro for Amy to attach the matches, but you could use magnets or even glue the smaller piece of paint chip onto a clothespin. I was going to do that idea, but I have lots of other ideas I was going to use clothespins for so I decided to change it up a bit for this one.

All this took was putting some push pins into some cardboard. I found some big pushpins at the dollar store and thought they looked fun. I may end up making another board with the smaller pins so she can have more options with her designs. But it's fine for now. You can use elastics to make your designs. Amy like making letters the best.

They are quick, easy, and it feels good to get something accomplished.

They all look so fun! And I love the pictures with Amy playing with them all. She is so cute:) I love that you have the stuff on hand. I'll have to try some of those. I know Brooklyn would have a hay day:)
