High Waist Skirt

I had this skirt in my closet that I never really wore. There is nothing wrong with it, but it's nothing special. In an attempt to revamp my wardrobe, I decided to go at it and see what I could come up with. Here is the before shot...

All I ended up doing was shirring the back waist band like this... It would have been nice if the skirt had a zipper in the side, then I wouldn't of had to have stopped and started my shirring so many times. And I would recommend using a skirt that is a few sizes too big. Either that or try and not shir so tightly. Mine fit me just right before and now it is a tight fit over my hips when I am trying to get it on. Once on it fits fine though. All in all I really like my new creation and am going to dig through my closet to find more treasures.
