Amy's New Spud

You know how you have those projects that you think are going to be the best thing ever when you first see them? Then you get started and reality hits. Well, this is one of those projects. It wasn't hard to make or anything, so I don't know why I dragged my feet for so long but I did. And can I just say that I am SOOOO glad that it is finally finished!

I think I saw the idea almost a year ago. (For the record, I still have uncompleted projects that I started in Jr. High. Yikes!) It's been so long that the original post is no longer out there in the blogosphere. The official Mr. Potato Head people contacted the tutorial maker and asked them to delete the post. But since I had already started mine I decided to finish him. Shhh ... don't tell. He was supposed to be a Christmas gift for Amy last year, but obviously that didn't happen. So she gets him for her birthday instead. Here he is...
I made lots of attachments for Amy to play with. I think my favorite is the little girl hair. So cute!
I am not sure why this project was such a thorn in my side, but it was. I'm glad it's finished. I really like how it turned out. But I am never going to make another one again ... ever.

I love you attachments. You went all out on those ones. That is pretty crazy that the Mr. Potato Head people contacted her.
