The last few weeks I have been taking a painting class over at the church. A very talented lady who has been all over the world painting, has offered to teach the members of the ward who are interested in learning how to paint. The best part is that it is free. So since painting is something I am not very good at but would like to know how to do, I decided to go and try it out. I have to say that at times I feel very awkward but I am having lots of fun. Last night I finished my very first painting. What do you think?
If I did it again there are definitely things I would change, but overall I am pretty pleased with it. From far away it even looks halfway decent. Woo hoo! She has a few more paintings for us to do before we can start to create our own. There are some more techniques and things she wants us to learn. Should be fun. Can't wait to see how my next one turns out.
