Strawberry Shortcake Pajamas

Amy loves strawberry shortcake. So when my mom sent out this strawberry and cherry fabric I just knew Amy was going to love it. I pulled it out of the box and told her we could make her some strawberry shortcake pajamas. She was so excited! Whenever she saw the fabric she would tell me she wanted to wear it. So I decided I should probably get them sewn up for her. Here is how they turned out.
For the pants I used this pattern. It has tons of cute pjs on it and I am definitely going to use it again. I was going to make a matching shirt but only had enough fabric for a short sleeved one. So until it warms up, I figured I would just make her a different one to go with it. I cut up one of my old shirts and just added some ribbing around the neck, roll hemmed the edges, and then appliqued a little strawberry on the front. I think it turned out pretty good. The good news is that the pants pattern ran a little big so she is going to be able to wear these for a long time. :)
