Here is Amy's side of the room. I sewed the top of her bedspread and still have to fix the length. However, when I put it on her bed it looked a little too plain. So I am going to make the other side look like this. It'll give it a little personality but I could still flip it over and have it be all white if I wanted. I just need to go to Joann's and find some fabric. But she doesn't like to sleep with her bedspread so it just sits folded up at the bottom of her bed all the time. So that is why I haven't felt any pressure to finish it. Amy also didn't like the pillows that were on her bed. Since I didn't want them all over the floor I just took them off. I did finish her super cute polka dot dust ruffle. I think it's very fun.

Kids Room: Semi Reveal
Well, the kids room isn't done yet. I haven't finished it for multiple reasons. But I figured I would post some pictures of it anyway.

Above her bed I made these canvas prints. On the brown one I am going to applique Amy's name and on the white one is going to be our little boys name. Then I will put pictures of them on the other ones. Obviously I can't do that until we pick a name and until we get some pictures. So it looks like this right now.
Here is the new home for their dresser. I am thinking about recovering the lampshade but haven't decided on how to do that yet. So it just looks like this. I am going to have to switch the pictures out of the frames too once our little guy arrives.
Here is what our little boy's side of the room looks like. We had his crib all set up, but our neighbor's little boy figured out how to climb out of his, so we let them borrow our convertible crib since theirs wasn't able to switch to a daybed. That is why there isn't a bed in there right now. For the first little while he is going to be in a pack'n'play in our room anyway. So we figured it was ok. I fixed the mirror and got that all hung up. I really like how plain and simple it looks over there. And I LOVE his fun crib sheet. I have plans to make a really cute padded crib cover for the backside of the crib. The front of it is done, but I haven't found the fabric for the backside yet, so it isn't finished yet either. It's kind of hard to tell, but it looks really good when everything is set up.
And on the opposite wall is their cute silhouette pictures. It is going to be so fun to see both their little faces up there.
And that is their room for now. I still need to figure out lampshades, do the canvas prints, finish Amy's bedspread, and finish the crib cover. But for the most part it's done. Sorry if you can't really tell what their room looks like. Hopefully it'll all come together ok once everything is done. But I figured it's done enough. Amy doesn't even sleep with her bedspread and all the other stuff is not on my "have to do" list either. So that is why it has remained unfinished. One day when I get it done I'll post pictures. But until now, this will have to do.
