I ran across this really cool pair of patchwork pants. They didn't look that great as pants, but they look amazing as a little skirt for my baby girl. Isn't it adorable?
It seriously took like 10 minutes to make. You just cut the pant leg off, fold the top down, stitch around it, thread your elastic, stitch it closed, and you are done. So easy. And it looks so cute on. I love it!

This next one was a remake out of a woman's tube top shirt that I found for super cheap. I just cut some curved armholes and sewed on bias tape. I could have just attached some ribbon to the top to use for straps (which would have been even easier) but I wanted to do something a little different. I then turned it inside out, cut a small slit up the middle for the shorts, sewed around it, clipped my seams so it would lay flat, turned it right side out, and that was it! Doesn't it look so fun?

I really LOVE how it turned out. She looks so cute in it! It's a great summer outfit to run around in. I am definitely going to be on the hunt for more shirts like this so that I can make her another one.

Gabe's was having a $1 sidewalk sale so I went up to check it out and found a few treasures. The best part is, all of these remakes only cost me a buck! Who can beat that? Here are the before and afters.
BEFORE: women's tank top

AFTER: super cute skirt for Amy

And those are my super easy remakes. I find that I would much rather remake something then pull out a pattern and start from scratch. I'm not sure why but I think it's fun. However, it is messing up my "purge and toss" that I like to do. Now I don't throw anything out! Oh well, it just helps me improve my organizing skills. :) Hopefully this post has inspired you to do some remaking of your own.
