Diaper Wipes Case

There was a baby shower last night for me and my friend Emma who is also having a baby boy. In fact, we are due only a day apart. For her shower gift I decided to make her a diaper wipes case. My sister had made one similar to this style and I thought it was so cute. I couldn't find the pattern online so I ended up having to wing it. I think it turned out pretty good. Here it is all full of goodies.
And here is the inside.

There are pockets for diapers and for your wipes and then it snaps closed with a magnetic snap. There is also a handle to carry it. If you have 2 kids in diapers, you could put one size in each side and then just lay your wipes in the center. They would stay in because you snap it closed. It was actually pretty quick and easy to make. Here are the dimensions I used in case any of you want to try and make one yourself.

OUTSIDE: 16 x 11.5 (cut 2 plus 1 stiff interfacing - I think I used an iron on fleece or something like that)

POCKETS: 6.5 x 11.5 (cut 4 plus 2 interfacing - it doesn't need to be stiff)

HANDLE: I didn't measure, I just kind of guessed. But it would probably be 2-2.5" wide by whatever length you would like.

After you get everything cut, round your corners. I used the edge of a plate to get an idea of the curve, but you could just eyeball it. Then bind the two edges of your pockets. Pin the pockets and handle down and sew on the outside binding. I attached my magnet clasp as the very last step. And that's it. Not too complicated. I think I might have to make me one as soon as I figure out what fabric to use. :)
