Recently I have totally revamped all my jewelry. I went through and got rid of everything I never wore and decide to spruce up a few of my pieces. It was kind of fun to turn something I don't wear into something even better.
This first one I just painted the pendant black. I left it brown on the other side so if I wanted to flip it around I could.

These are some earrings that I made. The torquoise ones were out of a necklace I revamped. Now I have earrings and a necklace that matches. Woo hoo!

For this necklace, I had some grey beads in between all the turquoise. I just decided to take them out for a simpler look.

These pendants had gold metal on them. Not really my style. So I painted all the gold a nice pretty silver.

And the backside. Much better.

This one I just changed out all the brown beads for black ones and even painted the pendant black. I need to seal the wood and make it a nice shiny black instead of the dull black that it is right now, but at least you get an idea of how it looks now.

These were gold and I painted them silver.

This necklace probably went through the largest transformation. Here is the before.

I painted the strand part silver, although I may end up changing my mind and painting it black. I changed out all the sparkles for rhinestones. Then I did a cool zebra-like treatment to the pendant and matching earrings. I painted it white first and got it inside all the cracks. Then I did a light brush stroke of black so that it just got the raised parts. It's not perfect, but I think it looks pretty cool.

And here is the back of the pendant. I painted this spiffy design on it. Now I can flip it around depending on my mood.

This necklace was also a fun re-creation of one I had seen online. I think it'll look beautiful with a nice black sweater. So fun.

Anyway, those are some pictures from my jewelry makeover. I still have a bag full of things I want to change but they are going to have to wait until I can get a hold of some spray paint. So be looking for more transformations soon. It's been fun!
