Lamp Makeover

While we were in Utah my mother-in-law got some new lamps and I got these. She no longer wanted them and let me have them. I'm glad she couldn't "see the vision" because I love how they turned out. Here is the before...

Don't they look lovely? I painted them with metal primer and then used the oil rubbed bronze spray paint for the final coat. The finial on top I also made out of a little wood piece I found at the local craft store. It gives it just the right touch. I am so excited about these. I think they are the perfect addition to our bedroom.
