Toy Ring Stacker
Amy has gotten pretty bored with her first batch of toys, so I decided that I should probably get busy and make her some new ones. My sister Lauralee found the cutest pattern for a toy ring stacker. As soon as I saw it I knew that Amy would love it. So we bought the pattern. Here is my rendition.
There was a lot of handstitching involved in this pattern. But it wasn't too bad. I thought about adding ribbons and dolling it all up but that would have made it more complicated. Now that I have made one though, next time around I might be more daring. The ring sets pictured on the pattern were so cute, but I thought the bright primary colors were more versatile. This can now be used for either a boy or a girl. Here is Amy playing away. I think she likes it. Some of the rings are bigger than she is but at least it will keep her entertained. Mission accomplished.
