Binkie Clips

My mom ran across this great book that had some really fun ideas in it for binkie clips. These ideas are knitted, and since I don't knit, it wouldn't do me any good to get the book. But I still wanted to make those fun clips. So I ran across this really easy crocheted daisy pattern at youcanmakethis.com and decided to try and make my own. The flower ended up bigger than I expected. Next time I will have to use a smaller crochet hook. But I think it turned out pretty cute. I have since taken off the leaves and like it much better.
This next idea I also got from my mom. She said to make fabric yo-yos and hook them to some ribbon. So that is exactly what I did. I really like this one. I love the bright spring colors. I am definitely going to make some more with a little variation.
It was fun to make her some cute binkie clips. I think I want to make her a beaded one next. She likes to suck on her binkie string sometimes and I bet some fun beads in her mouth would feel good. I have also seen one that is just ribbon but they embroidered the child's name on it. So cute! If any of you end up making one you should send me a picture. I would love to see what you come up with.

I just bought the stuff to start making some binkie clips! I love the idea of adding a flower! I'm going to give them a shot in the next week or so, thanks for the inspiration AGAIN!!
