More Baby Gifts

Devin's older sister is due in August and she is having a boy. Hooray! I was kind of excited to try and make something fun for a little boy. Here is what I came up with - an appliqued onesie with matching leg warmers and beanie. I hope she likes it!My little sister had a baby shower a little while ago and I whipped her up this nursing cover: AKA hooter hider. I like the fat strap in the back because it seems to stay on better. I appliqued on some cute flower petals to doll it up a little bit. Obviously, she is having a girl. :)
And here is how it looks on. I put some stiff interfacing in the front so that it'll hold it's shape out so you can see your little baby under there.
This next one is for Devin's Aunt who just had a baby girl. I used the new Baby Dress/Tunic pattern I recently found. However, this time I made it reversible. The other side is plain white. I just love how it turned out. I am definitely going to have to add this reversible dress to Amy's very long "to make" list.
And those are a few more baby gifts that I have made.

I *love* what you made for Devin's older sister, and the nursing cover too! We are actually expecting our second baby now (yay!!), and I'm getting really excited about trying to make some things (the only thing we made for our first was his quilt, and it was our first time making one!). As soon as we get back home I'm going to see if I can get my sewing machine working (I inherited it months ago, but I haven't actually used it- I know it needs some work done) I don't know what we're having yet, but I can't wait to find out (so I can get right to work!)! I love the idea of appliqueing onesies, and those leg warmers too, they're darling!

Sorry the link is down. I'll have to make my own tutorial now to replace it. I'll email you the tutorial in the meantime. Hopefully you get it. Let me know if you don't. I may not have your correct email.
