Purple Tops

So I attacked a few of my hand-me-down clothes and recreated them into shirts for Amy. This first one was a criss-cross shirt that I had back in High School. I had given it to my sister who recently mailed it back to me. Funny how your stuff finds you again. Anyway, here it is remade into Amy's size.

I think it turned out so fun and I can't wait to see her in it. I also had a purple turtleneck recently given to me (thanks Kristin) and I recreated it into this. I took the same idea that I used on this project but made it into a shirt instead of a dress. And it turned out so cute! I just cut the neck off and resewed it on. Thank you Kristin on the cute idea of how to reattach it. It keeps Amy so toasty warm and she looks cute in it too. Bonus! Now hopefully her gut will quit growing so she'll be able to wear this thing a little longer than a couple of months.

* Sorry about the blurry pictures. We really need a new camera.
