My crazy little girl has decided that she doesn't like to wear her super fun headbands any more. And it's such a shame because she looked so cute in them! One of her cousins would exclaim "Amy!" every time she saw a baby with a big bow on her head. It was her trademark. However, this picture says exactly how she feels about me making her wear them. :)

Sometimes she will let me put on one of those smaller 5/8" elastic headbands. They seem to work better now that she is getting hair. But all the ones I had were made for her much smaller head and so they would eventually pop off. Since she has no hair on top of her head, I don't really have anything to attach a hairclip too. What was I to do?
Well, I decided to make her some fun grown up head bands. She will actually keep these ones on better. And when she does pull them off (which is inevitable - let's face it) they are much easier to slip on her head when she isn't paying attention. :)

And here they are! I went a little overboard, I know.

But they were so easy and fun. For this one I glued on a velvet flower and some tulle. (It lays flatter when actually on her head.)

This one is just a simple satin bow.

I went a little crazy on this one (not sure what dad is going to say but I think it's fun.)

On some of them I decided to just glue on a piece of ribbon/elastic so that I could attach my millions of already made hair clips. Now they are interchangeable.

See, isn't this one cute with a ready made bow attached.

Well, that's what I did tonight while not paying attention to the political talking heads doing what they do best ... talk. What do you think? Hopefully this will allow Amy to go back to her big bow wearing days. At least until her hair comes in. Whenever that is going to be.

I don't have any ideas for you, but I wanted to say I like your font for your headings. I am planning to do that, too, but can't decide on a font yet.
