We put hinges on the top so the lid is attached. And to save some money we didn't put the wheels on the bottom. But it still works just fine. Here is another picture...

Storage Ottoman
We have been needed a bigger basket to put all of our piano books in. The one we have is too small and falling apart. I thought it would be fun to have a storage ottoman but didn't want to pay $60 for one. After looking at this fun blog (which has now lengthened my to do list tremendously - I love her stuff!) I decided to try and just make my own. I found this tutorial and used it for the main instructions but changed the dimensions. Our box is a 15" square. So I went to Lowe's and got the supplies, got my wood cut there, and Devin helped me screw it all together. Then I grabbed my staple gun and went to town. And here it is... (Sorry the picture is blurry.)

This is Melissa. But we've been wanting one of those too! I didn't realize I could make it myself, I'll have to do that! I'm glad you give me lots of ideas :)
That is such a good idea! We have been looking for something like this to use as storage under our coffee table, but I can't stand the thought of spending a ton of money on them. I think I may try to attempt this one day soon :o)
WOW! Very impressive.
No way! You are amazing! I've wanted one of those as well. It looks great!
