We had a craft night with a few ladies in the ward the other night, and I decided to try and finish up some new burp cloths. I followed
this pattern and love how they turned out. Here they are.

I used bias tape on one, piping on another one, and then just made the other ones plain. Each one has a towel on the back, and either flannel or just cotton on the front. I like flannel on the front the best but was just trying to use what I had. I didn't have much boy flannel so that is why I used cotton. This one however is my favorite. I love the polka dot towel. So fun!

After using 3 different methods for doing the edges, I would recommend keeping it simple. Just sew the sides together, flip it inside out, and top stitch the edge down. Super easy and still super cute. However if you like the bias tape or piping look you could totally do that too. I am just all about simplicity these days. Amy had her own use for them.

Don't you love the swimming suit look. We went on Saturday and she hasn't wanted to take it off since. She even takes her nap in it! Just don't tell her that there is over 5 inches of snow outside. :)

Very, very cute. Isn't it nice living a little closer to JoAnn's? Maddie now recognizes when we drive by the building and asks if we can go to JoAnn's. Now, if only she were that happy once we were actually in the store. Still working on that one.
I can't wait to see the kid's room!
Cute Mel. Your mom made some like that for McKenna and they were the best with the flannel on one side and the towel on the other. Absorbent, yet soft!
