I have been able to finish a couple projects for the kids new room. The first one are some super cute silhouette pictures. Obviously I don't have the boy one done yet, but for all intents and purposes this project is finished. :) I just took a profile picture of Amy and then used photoshop to cancel everything out but her face. Then I printed it out and cut it out of fabric. Next I just used some interfacing and stuck it down to the backing. Actually it was pretty easy and turned out super cute. I need to work on the placement on the wall, but these were just some holes that were already there. I also need to touch up the frames. They got a little scratched up being in storage.
Next I painted a lamp that we had white and recovered a lampshade in this super cute blue stripe. I really love how it turned out. It's going on a little storage table next to the crib. I also made the brown table runner out of the same fabric that is on top of Amy's bookcase.
And those are just a few of the projects I have finished up. There will be more to come so stay tuned.

Oh I love it! I'm needing ideas desperately for Anna and Max's room, so I'll probably be copying these. But instead of blue I think I'm doing green :). Thanks for the ideas!
