Maternity Revamps

I haven't gotten much done since I finished Amy's dresser. I have been trying to recoup from our crazy sleepless week. And it seems the further along I get the harder it is to get things done. My body just wears out. Probably because I am chasing around a very rambunctious 2 year old.

Today I did manage to get a few things in my to do pile finished. I had a bunch of long-sleeved maternity shirts that I turned into short-sleeved shirts, rehemmed a skirt of mine so that it was straight along the bottom instead of hanging longer in the back, and sewed up some holes in a couple other shirts. I even took the pant legs in on a pair of my knit capris that were a little balloon like. Now I can add a few more wearable things to my closet. It feels nice. Sorry no pictures this time. I didn't think anything I did was exciting enough to take a picture of, but I did want to post about something so I felt like I wasn't such a slacker. :)

Next on my list: Amy's bedskirt for her twin bed. I am cutting apart a pair of curtains I had made for her room and am going to use that for the bedskirt. Hopefully there is enough fabric and they will turn out fabulous. I'm excited to get it done. We are going to take her bed to Morgantown next week so I want to get it finished before then so I can see what it is going to look like. She is very excited for her twin bed and I am too. It'll be so fun!
