Binkie Clips

For Amy I made some fun ribbon binkie clips. They worked fine, but were kind of flimsy because the ribbon was only so thick. And it was kind of a pain attaching the snaps. So for our little boy I decided to try something a bit different. This time I made fabric binkie clips. And I love them! I think they are so cute. There are some really fun fabrics out there so you can have some super cute binkie clips. I still want to make another one in brighter colors, but my fabric stash is back in Morgantown so that will have to wait until next time we go down. But here are the ones I did get to finish up.
The velcro was tons easier to attach than those silly snaps were on Amy's. I am not sure if they will come unattached if it gets yanked on too hard. But I am sure it will be ok. I'm excited for the little guy to get here so he can use them. Amy said the brown polka dot one was her favorite and that she needed a new binkie so she could use them. Uh oh. :) She will just have to be content with giving her brother his binkie instead of having one of her own. All you with new babies should make some of these. They were really fun!

I just ordered a bunch off ebay. You can get them at Joanns or some place like that. Or even find some old suspenders at Goodwill and cut them off.

You are too fun Mel! I love all your projects. I had to tell a friend of mine going on a long car trip about your cookie sheet idea with magnetic toys...You always have the best ideas...keep them coming!!
