Butterfly Mobile
Lately when Amy has been getting up from her naps she really likes to look at the quilt I made her. She tries to grab it and a few times it has ended up in the crib with her. Well, I decided that I should probably give her something else to look at so I made her a mobile. I have been wanting to make her one for awhile but haven't really had a very good idea of how to make one. So I did a little searching on google this morning and I saw this amazing butterfly mobile. As soon as I saw it I knew that I had to make my own. So here is my interpretation.
I used a little creative freedom and made a few alterations, but I think it turned out pretty good. I hung it up while Amy was sleeping and when she woke up she was looking at it. So I think she likes it. I love how it kind of flutters so softly above her crib. It's very soothing. Anyway, that was my project this afternoon.

The mobile is lovely! I have been wanting to make one for Maddie for a long time, but have never found a pattern that I liked until yours. If you don't mind, I might try one with my own little twist!
Go right ahead! I'll be excited to see what you come up with. :)

Thanks so much for linking me to this - I'm so pleased you stumbled upon my mobile tutorial: your version looks great and so pretty hanging above the crib like that! :)
That is so cute!
