Project of the Month - Pin Cushion

My sister gave me this idea to do a "Project of the Month." And I thought it sounded pretty fun. So here are the rules. I will post a project at the beginning of the month and anyone who wants to join me can. We will then have all month to make the project. Once you have it made, email me a picture and I will post everyone's finished projects on my blog at the end of the month. Sounds like a good time huh? I'll try to switch the projects up so that not every month is a sewing project, just in case some of you aren't sewers.

For February we are going to make the Wild Flower Pin Cushion.
I know I started late, but this one isn't too hard. Here is the link to the pattern and instructions. If that link doesn't work, try this one. I had to register with bhg.com to get this free pattern, so that may be why the first link doesn't work. So you can use the second link and then register to get the pattern. If you run into problems please leave a comment. I can save the instructions in a word document and email them to you if you would prefer. Just let me know.

Anyway, hopefully you guys will join me in this new venture of mine. And remember the more the merrier, so invite your family and friends to join in the fun as well. Also, if you have ideas for a project just let me know. We could do one of yours one month. Good luck! I'm excited to see everyone's different takes on this project. But you'll have to hurry, you only have 2 weeks left!

Oh yeah, don't forget that if you fill your pin cushion with crushed walnut shells (you can get this at any pet store - it's bird litter) it will sharpen your pins as you take them in and out. For all you Morgantown ladies I have extra bird litter. I had to buy it in a 7 lb bag! So if any of you would like some just let me know. I have plenty to spare.
